A Story About Christian

Dale Huffman is a writer with the Dayton Daily News. When I contacted him about Christians death, he was very interested in learning more about Christian. He was kind enough to meet with his, and spent quite a bit of time learning more about Christian. He looked at our pictures of him and talked to us about him and his handicaps. After listening and talking to us, he asked when and where services for Christian were. Dale is a very busy man and a very famous writer. But, on the day of Christians funeral, Dale took time out from his busy schedule to be there.

This is a record of his visit. Christin was visited by many people - well over a hundred. Not only Christians relations, but people that I work with, people that know us, and many of Christians teachers, school bus drivers and assistants and many of his classmates and friends from Morton Middle School in Vandalia. We were amazed that such a young boy with such severe handicaps had touched the lives of so many people. The Catholic service was delivered by Father Mark Hoying of Precious Blood Church in Dayton. Father Mark delivered a very moving and compassionate eulogy.
