PDEstore is your shopping cart solution if you want to accept online payments by cash, check, credit card or by using a service such as PayPal, Yahoo!PayDirect etc. for your credit card orders. Why go to all the expense of credit card acceptance if you don't need to? If you already have the secure certificates, merchant accounts etc. you can use PDEstore via a secure server as well.
PDEStore contains stub coding in the orderform.html document for electronic check, credit card and paypal. It does NOT contain the logic to process these payment types. Since there are many different interfaces for each, you will need to code the interface for your specific payment method. If you use PAYPAL, you may want to consider using PPALStore as your payment gateway. If you want to add PAYPAL logic to this script, you may want to purchase the PPALStore script to see how the coding is set up if you aren't familiar with how to use it. Version 1.8 adds payments by electronic checks and additional order form fields for orders shipped to a different address and a few additional minor fixes. Configuring Sales taxes, Shipping Costs, Sales Discounts, Appearance, Font Display and Email "Thank You" take only a few variable changes in the script so it's not only easy to set up, it's also easy to make changes when needed. PDEstore easily accomodates just about any national currency and accepts multiple sales tax configurations as well making it suitable for your store regardless of currency or tax requirements. Appearance of your store is governed by HTML files enabling you to easily modify the appearance to make your store blend with you site so it looks like part of your site, not an add-on or afterthought. The browser-based manager enables product addition, modification and deletions for your convenience.
